In February 2003, Tom Light and his brother bought Walker Ag Equipment. The company was in distress, and the Lights felt their experience in the fabrication business since 1986, and the fact that they were already providing complete fabrication of the machines made them excellent candidates to purchase the company. In November of 2008, as the company outgrew its space, Tom became the sole owner of the company and moved into a larger facility in Lisbon, Iowa. Since February 2003, the people at Walker Ag Equipment have been busy building relationships with their customers and dealers and continuously working towards making the Walker #1 in reliability.
